As an Early Childhood Educator, Room Leader or Teacher at Young Academics, you will create meaningful learning experiences and environments that reflect best practice and are aligned with our service philosophy. You will support fellow educators to build strong partnerships with children, families, and the community.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and deliver a rich, engaging, and inclusive educational program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Support the team of educators & teachers through intentional teaching, collaboration, and reflective practice
  • Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and the team
  • Follow Centre Policies & Procedures and the ECA Code of Ethics, maintaining exemplary records and conducting comprehensive program evaluations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in Early Childhood and Care, or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or Certificate III in Early Childhood and Care from a nationally approved registered training organisation
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of the National Quality Framework
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (Preferred)
  • Valid Employee Working with Children Check (Paid)
  • Commitment to upholding a Child Safe Organisation and inclusive practices
  • Available to work on a flexible rotating roster
