Job Description:

MinRes seeks passionate, dedicated, and highly skilled Early Childhood Educators to join our dynamic Next Gen Early Learning Centre team. As a key educational team member, the successful candidate will play an integral role in providing high-quality care and educational experiences for children in a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive environment. This is a casual position, covering annual leave and sickness absence.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences that support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth
Regularly observe and document children’s progress and milestones through digital observations, learning stories, and portfolios
Participate in team meetings, planning sessions, and professional development opportunities, contributing to a culture of excellence across the service
Build strong, respectful relationships with families, ensuring open communication about their child’s progress, achievements, and challenges
Adhere to child protection policies and procedures, ensuring the wellbeing and safety of all children in your care, and consistently meeting the highest standards of practice
Assist with developing and implementing the curriculum that aligns with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

Requirements:

Minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
Proven 3 years experience in an early childhood education setting, demonstrating a strong understanding of early childhood development, teaching practices, and applying the EYLF/NQF
Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
Knowledge of child protection policies and creating a safe, supportive learning environment
Passionate and compassionate with a genuine desire to support children’s learning and development
