Job Description

We are seeking an Early Childhood Educator at our service in Paynesville. The Educator will work two days per week and 25 hours per fortnight. Uniting Early Learning offers a positive and supportive culture, training opportunities and rewarding work.

Job Responsibility

Assist in the provision of a developmentally appropriate program for the children, in partnership with other educators, families and children

Requirements

Diploma in Children's Services or Certificate III (or equivalent as approved by Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority)
Completed at least 50% of an Early Childhood Education and Care qualification
Understanding and knowledge of early childhood development
Ability to assist in the provision of a developmentally appropriate program for the children, in partnership with other educators, families and children
An ability to plan, reflect, work and manage time effectively with minimal supervision
Reasonable knowledge and understanding of the National Law and Regulations

Completion of BC Early Childhood Education Certification

Requirements

Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Master’s degree or higher in Education - early childhood education (preferred), child development, special education, elementary education
