Job Responsibility

  • Lead and inspire a team of educators in your room through on-the-floor mentoring and support
  • Plan and deliver engaging, holistic learning programs in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  • Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of every child in your care
  • Build positive relationships with families and support open communication
  • Collaborate with the Centre Director and Educational Leader to maintain a high-quality service

Requirements

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
  • Valid Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
  • Child Protection training/certificate
  • Experience leading a room and mentoring educators
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
