Job Description:

justteachers is supporting a welcoming and supportive primary school in Barnoldswick that is seeking an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) for a full-time Year 3 class, starting this September. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ECT to begin their teaching career in a nurturing lower KS2 setting, with strong mentoring and guidance from an experienced and collaborative team. Full-time position; Year 3 class; Start date: September; Full ECT induction programme and dedicated mentoring.

Job Responsibility:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
  • Assess, monitor, and support pupil progress, providing constructive feedback

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • ECT status (or due to qualify this academic year)
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one)
