Job Description:

Are you an enthusiastic and adaptable Early Career Teacher looking to gain varied experience across a range of primary and secondary settings? We are currently supporting a number of welcoming schools across Skipton and Keighley who require reliable ECTs for day‑to‑day supply teaching, HLTA‑level cover, and general classroom support. This is a fantastic opportunity to build confidence, develop your teaching toolkit, and experience different school environments — all while maintaining flexibility that fits around your lifestyle.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across a variety of year groups, following school plans and adapting teaching to meet the needs of pupils
  • Provide HLTA‑level support, including leading small groups, running interventions, and covering classes where required
  • Assist with everyday school support, such as pastoral duties, behaviour support, and contributing to a positive, inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT status
  • A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
