Justteachers is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join a vibrant and supportive Primary Academy in the Northampton area upon completion of your studies. This full-time role is due to begin in June, providing the successful candidate with a valuable opportunity to work alongside experienced colleagues, become familiar with the school environment, and build confidence ahead of the new academic year. Job Responsibility

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress through both formative and summative assessment methods
  • Participate fully in professional development opportunities, including ECT training and mentoring support
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to share ideas, resources, and best practice
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities, school events, and wider school initiatives

Requirements

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with QTS pending, or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Bachelor's degree in Primary Education or a related field
  • Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
  • A genuine passion for teaching and supporting young learners
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
