We are looking for a skilled Early Career Attorney to join our dynamic legal team on a long-term contract basis. Based in San Antonio, Texas, this role offers a unique opportunity for a motivated individual with strong attention to detail to manage their own cases while receiving support from a collaborative team. Job Responsibility

  • Support phases of litigation, including case assessment, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
  • Draft and file motions, pleadings, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail
  • Conduct depositions and interviews to gather critical information for case development
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to address administrative matters and resolve disputes effectively
  • Represent clients in alternative dispute resolution processes as needed
  • Ensure compliance with legal standards and deadlines throughout case management
  • Participate in strategic planning and decision-making to drive case outcomes
  • Provide detailed legal advice and guidance to clients while maintaining strong communication
  • Attend in-person meetings or court appearances as necessary to fulfill case-specific requirements
  • Utilize firm resources to enhance efficiency and achieve reasonable billing targets

Requirements

  • Must hold a valid license to practice law in the state of Texas
  • Demonstrated experience in civil litigation, including all phases of case management
  • Proficiency in drafting motions and other legal documents
  • Strong skills in conducting depositions and gathering case evidence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
