Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Ear Wax Technicians or Audiologist to join our team.

Job Responsibility:

Greet clients, verify details, explain the procedure, and conduct an ear health questionnaire
Perform ear wax removal using appropriate techniques, such as microsuction, water irrigation, or manual instruments
Provide a high standard of care before, during, and after the appointment, working within agreed protocols and guidelines
Maintain accurate and confidential medical notes, complying with GDPR regulations
Ensure the proper stocking, maintenance, and compliance of necessary equipment and materials for wax removal
Follow current health and safety standards and company guidelines
Advise patients on ear health needs and, when necessary, refer them to other healthcare professionals or services, such as audiologists or GPs

Requirements:

Qualified in a specific method of ear wax removal, such as microsuction, often from a BSHAA-approved or equivalent course
A good understanding of ear anatomy and physiology, and how to identify and report deviations from normal ear conditions
A strong ability to provide excellent customer service and build relationships with patients
A clinically focused approach, working independently and according to professional and company standards
Excellent written communication skills for accurate medical notes
