Job Description:

The post holder will have a key role in the press calibration and EAM press maintenance program whilst maintaining safe working practices and compliance with H&S policies and procedures.

Job Responsibility:

Management of calibration schedule to OEM standard
Service of rotoclean automatic blanket wash equipment
Service of automatic plate lifter equipment
Service, repair and install NC/ Forme block equipment
Address and resolve production failures to rotoclean, roller and plate lifter equipment
Complete all Press Preventative maintenance as per EAM PPM schedule
Ensure all pressroom handover and EAM system are updated
Stand in for Supervisor as and when required
Assist with clean ups and general housekeeping duties
Complete administration and reporting associated with EAM maintenance and calibration logs
Support press make ready operations as and when required
Any other additional duties as requested by the Pressroom Manager or other Supervisor roles
Ensure company obligations within health and safety and environmental law and group / site policy is maintained at all times

Requirements:

Engineering qualifications desirable
Lifting and slinging operations (Training provided)
Drive and commitment with an ability to work shifts
Excellent communication skills verbal/written/practical
Team player with the ability to lead a team
A good awareness of HSE standards and regulations
Be attentive to detail and focussed on quality
Computer literate
An understanding of manufacturing best practice and lean principles and tools
