Job Description

Amentum is seeking an E3 RF Engineer to perform Test, Evaluation, Integration, and configuration of C5ISR systems.

Job Responsibility

  • E3 Computation and RF Modeling and Simulation
  • Develop detailed EMI/EMC test plans
  • Participate in EMI/EMC test planning meetings and test readiness reviews
  • Perform EMI/EMC testing
  • gather, reduce, and analyze resulting data
  • Prepare and publish detailed EMI/EMC test reports
  • Review technical documentation and technical meeting support

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline
  • Six (6) years of experience in one or more of the following, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or Naval Architecture
  • Four (4) years of experience in experience in theoretical and practical aspects of Research, Development, Test, Engineering, or Integration related to warfare systems or electronic systems
  • Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following specific topside areas: RF and Microwave Engineering
  • EMP
  • E3
  • EMI/EMC
  • E3 Computation and RF Simulation
  • E3/EMI/EMC/PCI Testing
  • Defense Acquisition Engineering
  • EMI problem investigation
  • E3 instructions, standards, policies and procedures
  • Spectrum, EMC, or RADHAZ Certification
  • EMI/EMC analysis and assessment
  • EMI Planned Maintenance System (PMS)
  • USN Optimized Fleet Response Plan (O-FRP)
  • EMI Control and Mitigation
  • EMI Control or Measure Drawings
  • Must be able have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance.
