Job Description:

We are seeking an End-to-End Packet Core & IMS Expert (Ericsson & Nokia) to join our team. This role will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of Packet Core and IMS domains across Ericsson and Nokia network architectures, covering design, configuration, upgrades, troubleshooting and service assurance. As a senior subject matter expert, you will ensure network stability, performance, scalability and security, while supporting operations, transformation and managed services handover initiatives. The role requires close collaboration with L2/L3 support teams, vendors and customer stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide end-to-end technical ownership of Packet Core and IMS networks across Ericsson and Nokia platforms
  • Perform configuration, upgrades, updates and redeployment activities across Packet Core and IMS nodes as part of incident resolution or planned changes
  • Handle incident, problem and change management, including review and closure of TT, CR and AT on a daily basis
  • Act as Expert support for complex network issues impacting data and voice services
  • Ensure compliance with MSTOP processes, operational governance and best practices
  • Ensure security policies, password policies, access controls and audits are implemented and periodically reviewed across all nodes
  • Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and preventive actions to improve network stability and reduce recurring issues
  • Actively participate in technical discussions, architecture reviews and optimization initiatives to improve overall network performance and customer experience
  • Coordinate with vendor support, engineering teams and customer stakeholders during major incidents, changes and network upgrades

Requirements:

  • Strong end-to-end expertise in Packet Core and IMS architecture, operations and troubleshooting
  • Hands-on experience with Ericsson/Nokia Packet Core and IMS nodes, including virtualized and cloud-based deployments
  • Deep understanding of mobile core technologies across 2G/3G/4G/5G (NSA/SA) environments
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and RCA skills with the ability to handle high-severity incidents
  • Strong understanding of security compliance, access management and audit requirements in telecom networks
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions and bridge operations and engineering teams
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of critical network domains
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience in Packet Core and IMS operations, engineering, or managed services
  • Strong expertise in Ericsson or Nokia core network environment
  • Technical Skills: Packet Core: Ericsson / Nokia: MME, SGW, PGW, SAPC / PCRF, DRA, DNS, ePDG
  • IMS: CSCF (P/I/S), HSS/UDM, SBC, MTAS, VoLTE/VoWiFi
  • Virtualization / Cloud: vEPC, VNFs, NFVI, OpenStack, Kubernetes
  • Domain Knowledge: GSM, GPRS, WCDMA, LTE, 5G Core (NSA/SA)
  • Signaling protocols: Diameter, SIP, GTP-C/GTP-U, HTTP/2
