Job Description

Alfa Laval is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Site Manager to lead the Engineering & Supply (E&S) operations for the Prepared Food & Beverage execution site in Parma. This executive role carries full responsibility for the local E&S business, including the leadership across engineering, project management, procurement, service, and workshop functions. As E&S Site Manager, you will be accountable for the overall performance, profitability, and strategic development of the E&S site, ensuring alignment with Alfa Laval’s global objectives and delivering superior value to our customers.

Job Responsibility

  • Define and execute the site’s strategic roadmap in alignment with global business goals
  • Ensure operational excellence across all functions, driving efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Lead the development and delivery of competitive, future-ready solutions for the Food & Beverage industry
  • Lead end-to-end execution of high-value engineering projects with a focus on quality, timeliness, and cost efficiency
  • Drive continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives to enhance business agility
  • Enhance customer loyalty through fast, efficient, and proactive and cost-efficient project delivery and service support
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a multidisciplinary team
  • Foster a high-performance culture based on accountability, collaboration, and innovation
  • Implement talent development strategies, succession planning, and leadership growth initiatives
  • In collaboration with Sales functions improve and develop competitive products within the Food and Beverage industry

  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the site workshop by implementing and maintaining rigorous safety protocols and quality standards, while leading the team to deliver high-performance outcomes in line with organizational and regulatory requirements
  • Secure a reliable and agile supply chain to support engineering and delivery operations
  • Work closely with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Global Engineering & Supply teams
  • Contribute to global functional development and participate in strategic planning forums
  • Ensure compliance with Alfa Laval’s values, policies, and safety standards

Requirements

  • High level of personal and professional integrity, resilience, and a hands-on leadership style
  • Minimum 10–15 years of senior leadership experience in engineering, project execution, and supply chain, preferably in the food manufacturing sector
  • Proven track record in managing complex operations and leading cross-functional teams
  • Strong financial acumen and strategic thinking
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Master’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering
