The E&S Engineer is responsible for ensuring adherence to global Environmental & Socioeconomics requirements. The E&S Engineer will lead, provide support and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Group Functions, Operations, Construction, Commissioning Managers, and external partners to ensure seamless integration and implementation of E &S standards.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as the Deputy to the Environmental & Socioeconomics Manager, supporting the overall E & S management efforts within the project
Ensure consistent implementation and interpretation of applicable regulations, with particular emphasis on harmonization across the projects
Produce and manage FPSO Environmental & Socioeconomics documents, including management plans, reports, and other key documentation
Control tasks on Company’s Action Tracker and assist the project team in expediting any late tasks to ensure timely completion
Carry out audits of Environmental & Socioeconomics plans across locations and PMT activities to verify compliance with E & S standards
Review NCR (Non-Conformance Report) evidence related to E & S, issue corrective actions or nonconformity reports, and facilitate the closure of these issues
Manage the interface with the Finance team, ensuring alignment on E & S-related financial matters
Act as the focal point for E & S queries, providing guidance and support as needed
Inform project personnel of their Environmental & Socioeconomics responsibilities, ensuring full awareness and compliance within the team
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Environmental & Socioeconomics, with a focus on global standards and multi-national operations
Proven experience with Environmental & Socioeconomics (E & S) subjects in complex projects
Experience in working with cross-functional teams and understanding relationships with external regulatory bodies
Nice to have:
A Master's degree or professional certification in Environmental & Socioeconomics (e.g., Certified E&S Manager) is preferred
