We’re seeking a reliable, motivated E-Recycling Associate to support our mission through safe, efficient electronic recycling operations. This hands-on role is essential to keeping our warehouse operations running smoothly while supporting sustainability efforts and community recycling initiatives. You’ll work both independently and as part of a team—disassembling electronics, organizing recyclable materials, supporting warehouse operations, and assisting with community E-Recycling events.

Job Responsibility

  • Safely break down and process incoming electronic donations for recycling
  • Sort and organize recyclable materials in accordance with established procedures
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse environment daily
  • Operate forklifts and box trucks (non-CDL) as needed for pickups and drop-offs
  • Assist with opening and closing warehouse operations
  • Participate in community E-Recycling events and outreach efforts
  • Manage time effectively to ensure timely, efficient processing of materials
  • Demonstrate accountability, independence, and attention to safety at all times
  • Support and promote the mission and values of Blue Ridge Care
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support operations and organizational needs

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to operate a non-CDL box truck and forklift (certification required or obtained)
  • Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn
  • Ability to travel throughout the service area as needed
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset
