Job Description

As an E&I Technician, you are responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our electrical and instrumentation systems within our chemical production site in Botlek (Rotterdam area). You will work in day shift with an on-call duty rotation and report to the Team Lead E&I.

Job Responsibility

  • Performing preventive maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical failures efficiently and safely
  • Calibrating and maintaining transmitters, analysers, and control valves
  • Working with DCS and PLC control systems
  • Supporting technical modifications and improvement projects
  • Supervising and coordinating external contractors
  • Registering maintenance activities in the maintenance system
  • Working according to strict safety, environmental, and quality standards

Requirements

  • Technical qualification in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation (minimum EQF level comparable to MBO 4)
  • At least 3 years of experience in an industrial or process environment
  • Experience with instrumentation and control systems (calibration, HART protocol, analyzers, control valves, transmitters)
  • Experience with DCS and/or PLC systems
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
  • Dutch certification such as NEN 3140 is preferred, but not mandatory for international candidates
  • ATEX certification is an advantage

Nice to have

Experience with SAP or other maintenance management systems is a plus
