Job Description

Clough, as part of a Joint Venture with Saipem, is delivering the Project ‘CERES’ urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities. We are currently searching for an E&I Superintendent to join our site-based team on Project Ceres. Reporting to the Construction Manager, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing activities on site, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standards. You will work closely with project managers, engineers and labour teams to ensure compliance with project requirements and timeline.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and supervision of E&I activities
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures
  • Lead and manage a team of technicians, ensuring high performance and effective teamwork
  • Monitor progress and troubleshoot issues to keep projects on schedule and within budget
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure optimal standards
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes

Requirements

  • Ability to work on a 19:9 rotation to site (Karratha)
  • Proven experience in E&I supervision
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of SMP systems, safety protocols, and industry standards
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively under pressure
  • A proactive attitude with excellent organizational skills
  • 10+ years’ experience in a Supervisory role
