Job Description:

Deliver a sustainable future with WA’s landmark urea project! Clough, as part of a joint venture, is delivering the Project Ceres urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. We are currently searching for an E&I Supervisor on a 19:9 rotation to join our team on Project Ceres. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you’ll be responsible for the Commissioning scope.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and supervise all electrical pre-commissioning and commissioning activities on site
  • Oversee completion of Loop checks, Functional testing, Cable continuity, Relay testing etc
  • Coordinate field teams during live testing
  • Ensure all electrical systems are mechanically complete and ready for commissioning
  • Manage punch lists and drive timely closeout
  • Ensure the fulfilment of the project quality and contractual requirements
  • Verify and confirm the availability of drawings and materials to plan the efficient execution of the works performed by subcontractors or by assigned direct hiring personnel (feasibility analysis)
  • Set-up time schedule adhering to the time frame allocated to the specific scope of work
  • Arrange for the correct and cost-effective performance of electrical construction works, in accordance with the established operating programs
  • Coordinating and controlling the activities performed by the integrated team composed by supervisor, field engineers and Quality inspectors
  • Coordinate and measure the progress of the works carried out
  • Provide guidance and training to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • 7+ years’ experience working as an Electrical Superintendent or equivalent
  • Relevant electrical licenses or certifications
  • Experience within a high-pressure construction environment
  • Ideally experience within the oil & gas industry
  • Experience within Commissioning
