Power the future of sustainable food as an E&I Maintenance Technician in Sas van Gent. In this role, you will ensure the factory runs smoothly by performing repairs, solving technical issues, and helping improve our machines.
Job Responsibility:
Perform both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks
Analyze, investigate, and calibrate various electrical systems, sensors, and transmitters
Identify creative ways to reduce costs, streamline processes, and improve machinery efficiency
Provide technical support for improvement projects and assist with the commissioning of new mechanical and E&I systems
Prepare work permits, discuss LOTO (Lock Out, Tag Out) procedures, and ensure a clean, hazard-free working environment
Accurately use the CMMS system and produce reports using Word and Excel
Collaborate with operations staff and assist in managing external contractors on-site
Requirements:
MBO level 4 (or BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma) in a technical field
Main background and experience in Electrical & Instrumentation
Hold at least a NEN3140 VP certificate
Experienced in analyzing, configuring, and calibrating electrical systems, sensors, and transmitters
Experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in the food industry
Experience with HACCP and an affinity for food technology
Comfortable using CMMS systems and programs like Excel and Word for reporting
Willing and able to work in a 2-shift pattern (06:00–14:00 or 14:00–22:00)
