Job Description:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, E‑Commerce Product, you will play a key role in shaping and managing the product backlog for all LFC Retail E‑Commerce global platforms, including store.liverpoolfc.com and the LFC Store app(s). While this role does not include direct line management, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Manager to support the development of the global digital strategy and help strengthen digital knowledge and productivity across the wider business. You will work in partnership with the E‑Commerce trading team and cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and drive the achievement of key business goals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage third‑party relationships and software
  • Act as the product expert with strong understanding of user personas
  • Support development of the digital product roadmap across all E‑Commerce platforms
  • Translate roadmap features into clear product requirements (user stories, acceptance criteria) within an Agile environment
  • Work with SCRUM teams and external partners to deliver enhancements on time and resolve issues within SLAs
  • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure all outputs meet quality and functional standards
  • Contribute to business cases to secure investment for E‑Commerce growth
  • Prioritise and groom sprint backlogs, balancing stakeholder needs with customer impact
  • Oversee scope, scheduling, and delivery of developments, ensuring timely value, clear reporting, and risk management
  • Ensure all deliverables meet required quality standards
  • Track and report on product performance post‑launch to inform future investment
  • Develop E‑Commerce retail digital products that reflect the brand at the highest standard
  • Deliver and exceed annual sales and profit targets across all E‑Commerce stores
  • Review global markets to identify growth opportunities and provide recommendations for expansion
  • Create market‑specific business plans to drive short‑ and long‑term growth
  • Partner with Merchandising and Commercial teams on international market expansion strategies

  • Oversee SEO performance across all platforms

  • Monitor user flows to identify friction points and improvement opportunities
  • Stay informed on new CRO tools, technologies, and research
  • Use reporting and monitoring tools to inform product development decisions
  • Implement segments and customise marketing channel configurations where required
  • Report regularly on UX, MVT, and journey performance
  • Expand monitored journeys to enhance insight into user behaviour
  • Work with Finance, Legal, and other teams to ensure all stores meet compliance requirements (financial reporting, data protection, GDPR)

Requirements:

  • Strong professional foundation in Business, Marketing, IT or a related field
  • Significant E‑Commerce experience within a sport or lifestyle brand
  • Proven operational expertise across international markets
  • Ability to understand and present complex user journeys
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Balance of creative and analytical thinking
  • Confidence working independently, collaborating across teams, and adapting to changing needs
  • Experience using tools such as Trello, Jira or GitLab
