Job Description

Our client, a major player in Belgium’s energy sector, is looking for an experienced E-commerce Performance Expert to strengthen their Digital Sales team. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, experimentation, and continuous improvement. As a key contributor to our client's growth, you’ll use data, testing, and collaboration to drive online sales, improve user experience and optimise performance across all digital journeys.

Job Responsibility

  • Boost conversion and user engagement through CRO strategies, testing and digital optimisation initiatives
  • Formulate and implement test plans aligned with the digital sales roadmap and objectives
  • Execute A/B and multivariate testing campaigns to improve UX and CTAs across product pages and funnels
  • Analyse user journeys, identify improvement areas, and recommend data-driven enhancements
  • Collaborate closely with Digital, Marketing, Data and Product teams to implement and validate performance changes
  • Manage CRO platforms and dashboards to generate insights and guide decision-making
  • Support the execution of larger-scale initiatives and cross-sell strategies through performance-focused experimentation
  • Benchmark digital best practices across utilities, banking and telecom sectors to stay ahead of industry standards

Requirements

  • Ambition to further develop your career in digital experimentation, CRO and e-commerce within the energy or utility sector
  • At least 5 years of solid experience in e-commerce performance and digital analytics roles
  • Past experience in energy, telecom or banking is a strong plus
  • You’re at your best when analysing user behaviour, executing testing strategies, and driving performance results
  • Your strengths are A/B testing, CRO tools, performance metrics, and UX enhancement
  • Working experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, Optimizely, SEO platforms and advertising (Google, Meta, Display) is key
  • Strong communication, stakeholder collaboration and data interpretation skills are needed in this job
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral) in Dutch or French and working proficiency in English
