Job Description

The Ecommerce Commercial Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve commercial objectives in marketplaces. This role involves managing budgets, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying up to date of industry trends to drive the organization's success in the marketplaces.

Job Responsibility

  • Responsible for monitoring the sales performance and profitability and propose actions to meet the plan
  • Manage the relationship and daily business operations with the marketplace partners and stay up to date with marketplace policies, guidelines, and best practices to ensure brand's compliance
  • Develop a strategic assortment plan per marketplace per brand: determine the appropriate product mix and price ranges
  • Provide a forecast planning proposal to meet sales target
  • Set up sales plan / stock allocation per marketplace
  • Support the brands’ buying teams providing key input and further analysis for all marketplaces
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies, promotions, and campaigns in accordance with the brand strategy to meet sales and profitability target
  • Monitor and analyse pricing trends, promotional activity, competitor activities, assortment and market dynamics
  • Monitor and analyse main business & ecom KPIs
  • Execute and safeguard brand strategy by overseeing and managing the brand's presence and retail price according to Company and brand strategy

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of working experience in E-Commerce
  • Completed a relevant degree in eCommerce, Digital media, Computer Science/Engineering or Economics
  • A deep passion for E-Commerce and a thorough understanding of eCommerce websites and business models
  • Ability to prioritize topics independently
  • Ability to work in the English language with strong written and oral communication skills
  • Fluency in other (European) languages besides English, such as French, Spanish or German
  • Experience within the retail and fashion industry
  • Experience within international environments, consultancies, or a start-up environment

Nice to have

Experience in working with fashion marketplaces and integrators is a plus, namely Zalando and Tradebyte platforms
