This Retail & E-commerce leader in Montreal (Ville Saint-Laurent / Varennes) is looking for an E-commerce Data Analyst (GA4 Expert). Contract: Consultation / Contract. Term: 10 months. Start date: March 2026. Schedule: 37.5 hours/week. Hybrid: Flexible (Offices in Ville St-Laurent or Varennes).
Job Responsibility:
Configure and optimize GA4 and Google Tag Manager (GTM) to ensure precise tracking of user behavior and purchase funnels
Structure, clean, and prepare data exports from BigQuery into the Microsoft Fabric environment to centralize e-commerce insights
Develop, update, and automate high-impact performance reports using Power BI and Looker to facilitate data-driven decision-making
Analyze the customer "purchase funnel" and provide strategic recommendations to reduce friction and increase online conversion
Evaluate internal search engine performance and formulate technical improvements to maximize product relevancy and sales
Stay at the forefront of emerging trends in the grocery/e-commerce industry and evaluate new analytical tools and solutions
Provide detailed data extractions and case studies to various business units to support growth initiatives
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, E-commerce, Business Intelligence, or Computer Science
3 to 5 years of experience in a similar data-centric role within an e-commerce environment
Expert-level mastery of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM)
Proven experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI for end-to-end data modeling and visualization
Proficiency in the Google Cloud ecosystem, specifically BigQuery
Strong knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation
Essential Bilinguism (English/French) to collaborate with unilingual English-speaking partners and vendors
Nice to have:
Experience with Solr (search engines) and SAP Hybris (e-commerce platforms) is a significant asset
