Job Description:

Reporting to our Retail Media Director in Europe, you'll play a key role within our Paid Media department, leading retail media strategies for a new beauty/cosmetics client in the German market. You’ll have the opportunity to help shape retail media best practices for them, working directly with key German retailers and e-commerce platforms. This is a new position, with strong visibility across the account. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of retail media campaigns, from media planning and activation to optimisation, reporting and client recommendations. While being the main point of contact for this account, you will be supported by Client Management teams based in Spain and collaborate closely with other channel experts across the business. Please note that this is a one-year fixed-term position. We’re looking for someone who can work from anywhere in Germany, ideally near Berlin or Frankfurt.

Job Responsibility:

  • Plan, activate, manage and optimise retail media campaigns across German online retailers and retail media networks
  • Buy media directly from retailers and manage relationships with retail media partners
  • Activate and optimise sponsored ads via platforms such as Criteo or Epsilon
  • Manage and control budgets, pacing and forecasts to ensure efficient spend and delivery
  • Identify opportunities to improve campaign structures, targeting and product-level performance
  • Act as the day-to-day point of contact for the client, presenting results, insights and recommendations, and contributing to strategic discussions

Requirements:

  • Fluent in German
  • Professional level of English
  • Over 3 years of experience in retail media or e-commerce paid advertising
  • Hands-on experience planning and buying media directly with online retailers in Germany (e.g., Rossmann or Grocery Retail Media Networks)
  • Experience activating and managing sponsored retail media campaigns via Criteo or Epsilon
  • Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets for performance analysis and reporting
  • Skilled at creating structured, clear, client-oriented presentations
  • Enjoy building strong client relationships and comfortable owning client communications
  • Good at adapting strategies and plans to navigate unforeseen circumstances
What we offer:
  • Custom Work Environment: Work remotely anywhere in Germany or from our Berlin office, with flexible working hours between 8am and 6:30pm
  • Growth, Your Way: Accumulate one paid day each month (2 hours per week) for self-development and access to Jellyfish Learn
