Job Responsibility:

  • Lead enterprise-scale Dynatrace migration from Managed to SaaS environments
  • Design and execute dashboard migration strategies using Dynatrace Configuration APIs
  • Transform and validate dashboard configurations for SaaS compatibility across multiple tenants
  • Develop automated migration scripts for bulk dashboard export/import operations
  • Create comprehensive monitoring validation frameworks to ensure dashboard functionality
  • Establish Dynatrace governance standards and best practices for SaaS environments
  • Perform synthetic monitoring setup and application performance baseline validation
  • Configure alerting profiles, notification integrations, and management zones in SaaS
  • Conduct user training and knowledge transfer sessions on Dynatrace SaaS features
  • Support basic cloud infrastructure tasks as needed for migration activities

Requirements:

  • 6–8 years of experience with Dynatrace platform administration and configuration
  • Expert-level Dynatrace knowledge: Configuration API, Environment API, Settings API
  • Deep understanding of Dynatrace architecture: Managed vs SaaS differences, data retention policies
  • Advanced dashboard development: Custom metrics, calculated service metrics, USQL queries
  • Migration expertise: Large-scale monitoring platform transitions, data transformation
  • Proficiency in Python or Java for API automation and migration scripting
  • Experience with Dynatrace integrations (ITSM, notification channels, third-party tools)
  • Knowledge of synthetic monitoring, RUM configuration, and APM best practices
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and CI/CD concepts
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex monitoring scenarios

Nice to have:

  • Dynatrace Professional or Expert certification
