Are you a Dynatrace expert looking to take ownership of a major monitoring transformation? This is your chance to become the go-to Subject Matter Expert within a growing technology team that’s modernizing its application monitoring landscape. Our clint is expanding their team and driving a major shift from Nagios to Dynatrace—and we’re looking for the technical resource who can champion this change. If you thrive on building, optimizing, and mentoring others in best practices, this role was made for you.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the design, configuration, and rollout of Dynatrace dashboards, alerts, and agents
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather monitoring requirements and translate them into actionable dashboards
  • Perform proactive health checks, event correlation, and root cause analysis to ensure seamless system performance
  • Script and automate monitoring solutions (Python, Bash, Shell, etc.)
  • Provide technical mentorship and help build team expertise in Dynatrace
  • Continuously optimize and document monitoring processes for scalability and reliability

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of hands-on Dynatrace experience (dashboards, alert config, agent deployment, integrations)
  • Proven scripting ability in Python, Shell, or Bash
  • Experience in a UNIX/Linux environment (Windows exposure a plus)
  • 4–5 years overall IT experience (mid-level, not senior)
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills

Nice to have:

  • Migration experience from Nagios or similar tools
  • Exposure to Grafana, Splunk, Kibana, or Prometheus
  • Banking/financial services industry experience
  • Familiarity with cloud (AWS/Azure) and databases (PostgreSQL, SQL)
What we offer:
  • Lead a high-impact migration from legacy tools to Dynatrace
  • Be the in-house expert for all things monitoring and observability
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with infrastructure, development, and support teams
  • Join a growing team with opportunities for extension and advancement
