Job Description

Develop new and support existing applications used by Bright Horizons internal users as well Bright Horizons external clients and client employees. Through a variety of means, the Software Developer will translate business and technical requirements into business systems.

Job Responsibility

  • Design system enhancements and business process changes
  • Critically evaluate business requirements
  • Work in conjunction with outside vendors in a shared development environment
  • Work with Application Support, QA, and development to support application issues, changes and modifications
  • Proactively identify ways in which system and process changes can improve efficiency
  • Act as a change agent to help ensure that the newly implemented system/process enhance the success of the project
  • Provide updates and feedback to manager on progress of development
  • Provide details to project manager and project team regarding updates, schedules and issues
  • Deliver engaging, informative, well-organized presentations
  • Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 3+ additional years of experience would be considered in lieu of the applicable degree.
  • 3+ years of related work experience in .net web application development and/or Microsoft dynamics development using Plugins, Power automate, JavaScript, etc.
  • Experience developing in D365 using configuration, customizations, Javascript, Plugins, PowerAutomate is required.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft SQL Server.

  • Strong communication skills are essential

  • Ability to prioritize and manage many competing priorities
  • Ability to work in a virtual collaborative environment
  • ASP.Net MVC framework experience is preferred
  • jQuery experience is a plus
