Job Description

As a Duty Technician at The Westin Brisbane & Four Points by Sheraton Brisbane, you will perform various maintenance duties to ensure the hotels are efficiently maintained, while delivering a high level of service. Join a dynamic team in a global hospitality leader, Marriott International.

Job Responsibility

  • Use the Work Request System and Preventative Maintenance Program
  • Carry out all tasks, guided by the Work Request System and Preventative Maintenance Program
  • Clean and maintain plant rooms/workshop in proper condition
  • Work on a rotating shift as directed
  • Carry out and administrate the Rooms Inspection program as per hotel Standards
  • Carry out duties as directed by Chief Engineer/ Maintenance Supervisor
  • Communicate to the Chief engineer/ Maintenance Supervisor on a daily basis about allocated jobs
  • Anticipate guest’s needs through observation and offer prompt, efficient service either personally or through effective communication with other associates

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Engineering/Maintenance Operations, in a similar position within a multi-disciplinary organisation
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry standards
  • Hands-on attitude and strong willingness to learn
