Job Description:

Join us as a Maintenance Handyperson to feel empowered by career growth opportunities in a people-first environment. Responsible for the day-to-day operations within the property maintenance department ensuring plant and equipment operate with the least amount of down time. Maintain the complex facility, including all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and related equipment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations within the property maintenance department ensuring plant and equipment operate with the least amount of down time
  • Maintain the complex facility, including all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and related equipment in accordance with energy conservation and preventative maintenance Programs
  • Respond to guest requests whilst engaging and inspiring them with each guest experience
  • Carry out room Preventative maintenance as per Marriott standard
  • Monitor plant rooms and equipment and record the necessary logs
  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new guests, creating intimate and distinctive experiences to enable future bookings
  • Carry out general maintenance jobs by utilising hands on Role
  • Always adhere to OH&S rules on the workplace

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in general maintenance, property maintenance in hotels, facilities, residential or commercial
  • Working rights in Australia
