Job Description:

We are looking for a friendly, confident leader with previous retail leadership experience to join our team as a Retail Duty Manager. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for growth and development in their retail career. As the Duty Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operations of our store, with a particular focus on leadership and store presentation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and motivate a team of staff to deliver exceptional results
  • Maintain high standards of store cleanliness, organisation and merchandising to create an inviting shopping environment
  • Resolve customer queries, complaints, and issues promptly and effectively, ensuring a positive shopping experience
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food safety standards
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Good physical fitness and the physical capability to meet the demands of the position
  • A good eye for detail
  • Forklift licence – not essential but will be an advantage
  • LCQ Certificate and Liquor Manager’s Certificate – not essential but will be an advantage
