Job Description

As a Duty Management Trainee, you play a key role in the heartbeat of the hotel, ensuring everything runs smoothly, guests feel truly welcomed, and teams are supported in delivering the highest service standards. You’ll take initiative, develop leadership skills, assist in problem-solving, and understand what it means to manage daily operations in a hotel. On top of that, you’ll receive an attractive internship compensation of €750 per month.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist the Duty Manager in overseeing day-to-day hotel operations across multiple departments
  • Walk the hotel floors to ensure cleanliness, safety, and brand standards are met at all times
  • Support Front Office teams during busy moments, check-ins, and guest inquiries
  • Help resolve guest requests and complaints in a professional and solution-oriented manner
  • Ensure VIP arrivals are handled smoothly and follow up on guest satisfaction
  • Assist in preparing handovers, reports, and updates for the next shift or management team
  • Support the Duty Manager in addressing unexpected operational challenges

Requirements

  • You are studying Hotel Management, Tourism, Business, or a related field
  • You speak English fluently (any additional languages are a plus)
  • You enjoy working with people and communicate easily
  • You work proactively and feels comfortable taking initiative
  • You are organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
  • You thrive in a dynamic, international workplace
  • You have a strong sense of responsibility and enjoy solving problems
