Job Description:

Manages all engineering/maintenance operations with attention towards safety, security and asset protection. Accountable for managing budget, capital expenditure projects, preventative maintenance and energy conservation. Responsible for maintaining regulatory requirements and assisting in leading emergency response team.

Job Responsibility:

Manages engineering/maintenance operations including building, grounds and physical plant
Manages budget and capital expenditure projects
Oversees preventative maintenance and energy conservation
Maintains regulatory requirements
Assists in leading emergency response team
Manages physical plant equipment including refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment and electrical systems
Develops specifications for service contracts
Distributes preventive maintenance work orders
Oversees maintenance of grounds, guestrooms, public space, restaurants, property vehicles and recreational facilities
Develops long term plan for preventative maintenance and asset protection
Develops project plans for renovation or new construction
Contacts contractors for bids and supervises construction
Ensures building and equipment licenses and certifications are current
Maintains property life safety systems

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
3 years experience in engineering and maintenance or related professional area
technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing
OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major
1 year experience in engineering and maintenance or related professional area
