Job Description

Join a well-established mining services contractor at the Mindarie Mineral Sands Project. Located in the Murray Mallee region, SA approximately 150 km east of Adelaide, this project is dedicated to the safe extraction of zircon, rutile, and ilmenite. Our clients pride themselves on sustainable mining practices and progressive land rehabilitation. And they are currently looking for an experienced Dump Truck Operator to join their team for long-term opportunities.

Job Responsibility

  • Operating a Komatsu 785 and any other heavy machines on the mine site
  • Supporting daily mine operations in a soft sand environment
  • Maintaining the safe and efficient operation of heavy machinery
  • Strictly adhering to site safety protocols and rehabilitation procedures

Requirements

  • Proven history operating Dump Trucks in a mining environment
  • Must hold a RIIMPO338E ticket - Rigid Haul Truck Operations
  • Any other RII ticket for Grader, or Dozer, or Water Cart
  • Valid Driver's License and a current, up-to-date resume
  • Ability to commit to 12 hour day/night rotations and your own transport
  • Only applicants living in Australia with full working rights will be considered
