IFGL is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Due Diligence Specialist & Legal Support professional to join our Risk, Legal & Compliance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in corporate due diligence, legal administration, or company secretarial support who is looking to develop their career within a professional financial services environment. Reporting to the Data Protection Officer & Legal Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date corporate due diligence records for IFGL legal entities. You will work closely with relationship owners across the business to manage and review third-party due diligence requests and ensure appropriate documentation is supplied consistently and accurately. You will also provide broader legal and governance support, including assistance with board resolutions, governance committee administration, and minute taking.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintain current and accurate records of corporate due diligence documentation
  • Review, approve, and record non-standard due diligence responses
  • Respond to internal and external due diligence queries in a timely manner
  • Conduct regular reviews of due diligence records to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Support internal stakeholders with guidance on due diligence requirements and documentation standards
  • Assist the wider Group Legal Team with data protection and corporate governance activities
  • Prepare board resolutions and provide minute-taking support for governance committees

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of corporate legal structures
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ideally has minimum of two years’ experience within a company secretarial, legal support, or financial services environment
