Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Due Diligence Consultant to join the Client Screening Team to assist with screening transformation, workflow management, and producing expedited screening requests for Commercial Banking and Corporate & Investment Banking.

Job Responsibility:

  • Mitigate risk by accurately executing upon due diligence screening within agreed upon time frames
  • Exercise independent judgment to guide medium risk screening deliverables
  • Assist with screening operational activities outside of standard work queue as needed including but not limited to workflow management, business continuity, data gathering, analysis, etc.
  • Provide subject matter knowledge, leveraging solid understanding of screening function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements, to assist with process walkthroughs, procedure reviews, testing engagements, and transformation activities
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, managers to resolve screening process and production related issues
  • Review and analyze screening processes and controls for improvement opportunities
  • Participate in focus group opportunities to assist with screening improvement efforts
  • Partner with senior consultants to aid in training facilitation, quality review, and post training support for new screening consultants
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, managers and internal and external customers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Aggregate, evaluate and report results and escalate where necessary

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of Due Diligence experience, or equivalent (including risk management, client service, operations support, or business process management)
  • Working knowledge of BSA/AML programs
  • Ability to easily adapt and be agile
  • Experience in workflow management and assignment
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand environment while balancing priorities
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to details and accuracy
  • Ability to collaborate with geographically dispersed teams
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge
