Job Responsibility:

  • Partner with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Lead the design and development of custom Duck Creek solutions using ManuScript
  • Provide technical leadership to your development team, offering guidance and mentorship across the platform
  • Drive solution approvals, including requirements, architecture, and delivery timelines
  • Support project planning and ensure solutions align with long-term client strategies
  • Take ownership of customer issues and lead them through to resolution
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment while elevating team capabilities

Requirements:

  • 6–10 years of industry experience, including 5+ years with Duck Creek products
  • Deep expertise in Duck Creek Policy Administration and/or Billing (Author, Express, Server, User Admin, TransACT)
  • Hands-on experience with ManuScript configuration and inheritance structures
  • Experience with Duck Creek APIs, Duck Creek Anywhere, and Duck Creek Skins
  • Strong background in C# custom business objects and XML (or similar programming languages)
  • Experience with Duck Creek tools such as Author (Fields, Pages, Forms, Tables) and debugging tools (TraceMonitor, ExampleUtil, Data Tester)
  • Knowledge of Duck Creek Shredding including IDO
  • Solid experience with SQL Server, stored procedures, triggers, and related database objects
  • Understanding of the full software development lifecycle, including Agile environments
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with clients
  • A self-starter mindset with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
