Job Description:

As a Dual-Use & Classification Specialist at Bosch, you will ensure compliance with global trade regulations, focusing on the classification of goods, software, and technology under dual-use regulations. This role involves working within an international team, monitoring and adapting to international trade laws, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance and classification records.

Job Responsibility:

  • classify goods, software, and technologies in line with Dual-Use Regulation and relevant export control regulations
  • identify and assess dual-use characteristics in technical documentation and drawings
  • conduct and document classifications and dual-use assessments
  • collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders
  • monitor, interpret, and implement updates to dual-use control lists and international trade regulations
  • maintain classification records in internal systems (e.g., SAP GTS)
  • proactively monitor and adapt to evolving export control and foreign trade laws to ensure continued compliance

Requirements:

  • 1–3+ years of experience in export control, customs classification, or technical product compliance
  • understanding of dual-use regulations and international control regimes
  • ability to interpret technical product documentation, schematics, and specifications
  • strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • fluent in English (German or other languages are a plus!)
  • experience with SAP GTS, other ERP systems, or trade compliance tools
  • excellent communication skills and the ability to work across diverse teams and cultures
