As the most important partner to the Director of Sales, you are the first point of contact with our guests online, as well as at as a key sales person for the property. The sales and service savvy you bring to the role is crucial to our brand.
Job Responsibility:
Interact with clients to coordinate group bookings and rooms
Promote and engage in online conversations with customers to encourage relationship building
Directly engage in room, event, and block sales
Coordinate with Director of Sales and our Marketing department to engage with social media influencers to promote and produce content
Input bookings and room blocks into the property management system
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of service
Maintain sales records and files
Act as a first point of contact for social business inquires
Perform other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of Hotel Sales Manager, Sales Coordinator, or direct hotel sales experience is REQUIRED
Organizational, administrative and communication skills
Proactive approach to prospecting for new business as well as account penetration and saturation
Superb organizational and follow up skills
Computer Skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook a must
Professional appearance and conduct
Nice to have:
Prior additional hotel experience (in any department)
Experience in the local market
Brand experience
