Job Description:

As the most important partner to the Director of Sales, you are the first point of contact with our guests online, as well as at as a key sales person for the property. The sales and service savvy you bring to the role is crucial to our brand.

Job Responsibility:

  • Interact with clients to coordinate group bookings and rooms
  • Promote and engage in online conversations with customers to encourage relationship building
  • Directly engage in room, event, and block sales
  • Coordinate with Director of Sales and our Marketing department to engage with social media influencers to promote and produce content
  • Input bookings and room blocks into the property management system
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of service
  • Maintain sales records and files
  • Act as a first point of contact for social business inquires
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of Hotel Sales Manager, Sales Coordinator, or direct hotel sales experience is REQUIRED
  • Organizational, administrative and communication skills
  • Proactive approach to prospecting for new business as well as account penetration and saturation
  • Superb organizational and follow up skills
  • Computer Skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook a must
  • Professional appearance and conduct

Nice to have:

  • Prior additional hotel experience (in any department)
