An exciting leadership opportunity to make a real difference. Here at Horizon Care & Education we are seeking an exceptional Dual Registered Manager to lead two children’s residential homes in Melksham, Wiltshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate, experienced leader who is ready for a rewarding challenge and wants to play a key role in shaping outstanding care and outcomes for young people. Working in close partnership with Wiltshire County Council, you will be at the heart of a collaborative, child-centred approach, supporting young people with complex needs to thrive, feel safe, and achieve their potential.

Job Responsibility:

  • Hold Ofsted registration for two residential children’s homes
  • Provide inspirational leadership and management across both homes
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed care
  • Work closely with Wiltshire County Council, external professionals, and families
  • Drive a positive culture focused on safeguarding, stability, and positive outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
  • Lead, develop, and support staff teams to be the best they can be

Requirements:

  • Is an experienced Registered Manager within children’s residential care
  • Holds, or is willing to work towards, the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management
  • Has a strong understanding of Ofsted requirements and inspections
  • Is confident managing multiple services while maintaining outstanding standards
  • Is passionate, resilient, and committed to improving the lives of young people
  • Values partnership working and collaborative practice
