Here at Horizon Care & Education we are seeking an exceptional Dual Registered Manager to lead two children’s residential homes in Melksham, Wiltshire. Working in close partnership with Wiltshire County Council, you will be at the heart of a collaborative, child-centred approach, supporting young people with complex needs to thrive, feel safe, and achieve their potential.

Job Responsibility:

  • Hold Ofsted registration for two residential children’s homes
  • Provide inspirational leadership and management across both homes
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed care
  • Work closely with Wiltshire County Council, external professionals, and families
  • Drive a positive culture focused on safeguarding, stability, and positive outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
  • Lead, develop, and support staff teams to be the best they can be

Requirements:

  • Is an experienced Registered Manager within children’s residential care
  • Holds, or is willing to work towards, the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management
  • Has a strong understanding of Ofsted requirements and inspections
