Job Description:

Dual Registered Manager to oversee two established children’s homes in the Leyland (PR26) area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and passionate individual to shape services, inspire staff teams, and ensure the highest standards of care for children and young people.

Job Responsibility:

  • Taking full responsibility for the operational management of both homes
  • Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations, Children’s Homes Regulations, and Quality Standards
  • Leading, motivating, and developing staff teams to achieve excellence
  • Working closely with external professionals, local authorities, and families to achieve the best outcomes for young people
  • Overseeing budgets, staffing, and resources across both homes
  • Driving continuous improvement and ensuring services remain outstanding

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Manager in a children’s residential setting
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff
  • In-depth knowledge of Ofsted requirements, safeguarding legislation, and regulatory frameworks
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a clear focus on outcomes for children
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
