Job Description

Dual Registered Manager across two Children's Residential homes in Stoke on Trent location. Job Responsibility

  • Manage a warm and friendly home that is a safe and supportive environment for our children and young people to achieve positive outcomes authentic to them
  • Ensure compliance with the Children's Homes Regulations and deliver high-quality care
  • Lead and inspire a motivated team, providing guidance and support
  • Manage budgets, resources, and the home environment
  • Safeguard young people and liaise with professionals to achieve positive outcomes
  • Drive continuous improvement and ensure the home's statement of purpose is fulfilled

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in children's residential care management
  • A strong understanding of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • A commitment to providing a nurturing and empowering environment
  • You hold an NVQ/QCF Level 3 Diploma for the Children's and Young People's Workforce
  • You also hold your QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Children's Services or be willing to undertake this qualification as part of the role
  • Hold a full UK driving license
