Job Description:

We are currently looking for Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers to join our client is enabling the energy essential to support everyday life. They deliver end to end solutions across electricity transmission and distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation. This role sits within their Metering team, they are one of the leading providers of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, delivering efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity and water meters. Job Responsibility:

  • Install smart gas and electricity meters
  • Investigate and resolve non communicating smart meters
  • Attend emergency and maintenance appointments
  • Restore gas or power safely when customers need it most
  • Provide clear explanations to customers on safe usage and benefits of their new meter

Requirements:

  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Must have held licence for 1 year and have less than 6 points
  • CCN1 / CMA1 / CMA3, or hold an NVQ Level 2 in Smart Metering Dual Fuel
  • Experienced installing gas and electric smart meters
  • MOCOPA authorisation
