Job Responsibility

  • Analyze market trends, demand patterns, and competitor pricing to make data-driven decisions
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly forecast reports and pacing updates
  • Manage rate structures, restrictions, and availability across PMS, CRS, and channel systems
  • Monitor distribution costs and optimize channel mix to improve net revenue
  • Participate in revenue meetings and provide strategic recommendations to leadership
  • Monitor booking pace and reservation trends
  • identify opportunities to improve performance and processes
  • Ensure accurate loading and maintenance of rates, packages, and promotions in PMS/CRS
  • Audit reservations regularly to ensure compliance with brand standards and policies
  • Create, modify, and cancel reservations accurately in the reservation system
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, payments, and online inquiries related to reservations
  • Track call conversion and implement improvements to increase booking success
  • Maintain strong knowledge of hotel offerings, amenities, and local market demand
  • Coordinate with Front Office on arrival patterns, overbooking controls, and inventory management
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2–4 years of hotel reservations, revenue, or front office experience
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong communication skills and a guest-service mindset

Nice to have

  • Hyatt experience and familiarity with Hyatt systems/standards
  • Working knowledge of revenue management principles and distribution channels
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort with reporting tools

  • Interact with customers, travel agents, and wholesalers via phone, email, or chat to handle reservation inquiries, and assist in booking reservations
  • Maintain departmental goals which include but are not limited to: Conversion, Revenue, and productivity
  • Process reservations by email, telephone, fax or central reservation systems referral
  • Maintains reservations records
  • prepares and distributes notifications of confirmation
  • processes advance deposits on reservations
  • Supply availability, pricing information and booking instructions to wholesalers, and travel partners
  • Complete daily checklist that includes but not limited to pre-arrival calls, run trace reports and action on them, arrival review/audit, run daily reports, assigning room blocks, cleaning up reservations that come via website, OTA and other channels, manage email inboxes timely and professionally, conduct outbound calls for any hot leads, assist with cleaning up checked out with open balances, entering STR data, etc.
  • Thorough knowledge of all hotels’ layouts, room locations, room types, as well as hotel services, features, and hours of operation
  • Be proficient in the PMS reservation system and brand booking engine and reservation processes including taking entering data, cancellations, and data management
