  • Safety & Environment: Maintain a highly organized and safe workshop, studio, and kitchen environment, implementing clear routines and de-escalation strategies
  • Collaborative Planning: Work with the wider school team to integrate creative arts into the students' holistic development and therapy goals

Requirements:

  • Proven experience teaching at least two of the three subjects (DT, Art, or Food Tech) within a UK Secondary or SEN setting
  • A strong understanding of SEN pedagogy and the ability to manage a classroom with diverse learning and behavioral needs
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple practical departments and resources
  • A patient, resilient, and creative approach to classroom management
  • An enhanced Child DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
What we offer:
  • Competitive Pay: £150 - £220 per day, based on experience and scale
  • Full-Time Stability: A consistent, long-term placement in a well-equipped Thetford school
  • Creative Freedom: The opportunity to design projects that truly resonate with and empower your students
