PFB JD for DSM role:Location: Mumbai, India Reports to: Territory Sales Manager Position Overview As a DSM you will combine data-driven execution via our digital platform with high-energy consumer advocacy to turn them into loyal brand consumers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Digital Execution: Utilize our proprietary geo-tagged mobile application, Hawkeye, to record and track every market visit in real-time
  • Maintain rigorous Market Hygiene standards by auditing stock levels, pricing compliance, and shelf health
  • Ensure 100% Brand Availability and premium Visibility (brand placement, brand availability, POSM placement, ) across all assigned wine shops
  • Strategic Route Planning: Strictly adhere to the monthly PJP (Permanent Journey Plan) beat schedule
  • Ensure consistent coverage of your designated territory in Mumbai, optimizing travel time for maximum market impact
  • Report daily insights and competitor activities directly through the digital ecosystem
  • Consumer Advocacy & Conversion: Act as a brand advocate on the shop floor, confidently engaging with walk-in consumers
  • Execute "Sell-Out" strategies by educating consumers on the heritage, taste profiles, and quality of Pernod Ricard brands
  • Actively convert consumers from competitor brands to our portfolio through persuasive storytelling and advocacy

Requirements:

  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable operating geo-tagged mobile apps and using data to guide daily operations
  • Market Specialist: Deep understanding of the Mumbai retail landscape (Wine Shops/Off- trade) and consumer behaviour
  • Effective Communicator: Bold, articulate, and charismatic. You should be able to strike up a conversation with anyone and hold their attention
  • Disciplined: High level of integrity regarding PJP adherence and reporting accuracy
  • Result-Oriented: A "closer" mindset with a passion for winning at the shelf
