Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Drywaller/Taper/Plasterer to work with one of our trusted clients on construction and renovation projects across British Columbia. As part of our candidate network, you will have access to this role and other similar opportunities with leading employers. Ideal candidates will have expertise in drywall installation, taping, plastering, and finishing techniques, with bilingual proficiency in English required and French as a valued asset.

Job Responsibility:

  • Keep detailed records of materials used, work progress, and surface areas covered during the job
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines when handling materials and equipment
  • Work closely with team members to ensure timely production and quality control
  • Sand surfaces to achieve flawless, smooth finishes
  • Use plaster or joint compounds to finish surfaces, preparing them for decoration
  • Apply tape and compound to seams, corners, and fasteners to create smooth surfaces
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall on walls and ceilings

Requirements:

  • Experience with specialized finishes such as textured surfaces or soundproofing
  • Knowledge of eco-friendly, low-dust materials
  • Bilingual proficiency in French is an asset
