Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum 5 years Commercial Drywall Estimating experience
Proficient with OST (On Screen Takeoff), QuickBid and Bluebeam
Ability to read and understand specifications and drawings
Ability to make accurate judgments and calculations
Working knowledge of construction costs and principles

Job Responsibility

Perform all standard Estimator responsibilities with a focus on Drywall, metal framing, insulation and acoustical ceilings
Review project plans, specifications, and requirements to fully understand the self-perform drywall scope
Prepare detailed and accurate quantity takeoffs, labor productivity analysis, and material pricing for drywall-related scopes
Evaluate and coordinated subcontractor and supplier quotes for materials such as drywall, framing and finishes
Determine labor rates, crew compositions, and equipment costs for self-perform field teams
Develop conceptual and detailed cost estimates during preconstruction and at various design stages
Maintain and meet bidding schedules, ensuring timely submission of estimates and proposals
Prepare and submit material requisitions and purchase requests for drywall self-perform work
Collaborate with the Project Manager and Field Superintendent to review takeoffs, labor budgets, and constructability before bid submission
Manage and secure all bid documents, drawings, and quote letters relevant to the drywall scope
