Job Description

Cranswick Gourmet Bacon are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our busy and fast-paced food manufacturing site. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring goods are received, stored and dispatched safely and efficiently to support production and customer orders.

Job Responsibility

  • Receive and check deliveries against documentation, reporting any discrepancies or damages
  • Store goods safely in the correct warehouse locations while maintaining stock rotation
  • Prepare and dispatch goods to meet internal and external orders
  • Ensure all food safety, quality and health & safety standards are followed at all times
  • Complete relevant warehouse documentation and traceability records
  • Carry out daily FLT checks where required
  • Work closely with Team Leaders, Warehouse Supervisors and other departments to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

  • Reliable with good timekeeping and attendance

  • Good awareness of health & safety and food hygiene practices
  • Organised with attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and develop within a warehouse environment
