Job Responsibility

Assist the Dry Goods Manager in organising, and leading the day to day operation of the Dry Goods departments ensuring company objectives are met
Delivery of required processes and stock management
Oversee Training and Development and ensure robust Health and Safety and Food Safety Programmes are adhered to by all Dry Goods Departments at New World Stoke
Provide support and direction to all Dry Goods Departments in the absence of the Dry Goods Manager
Assist in achieving sales targets and retail excellence across all of our dry goods departments

Requirements

Proven experience in a stores or inventory management role, preferably within a manufacturing or food production environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team and drive performance
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Familiarity with stock management systems and best practices
Knowledge of health and safety regulations as they pertain to warehouse operations
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively

Job Responsibility

Oversee and manage all aspects of dry stores operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of dry goods

Collaborate with production and procurement teams to ensure the availability of materials while minimizing excess inventory
Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
Conduct regular audits to assess stock accuracy and identify areas for improvement
Develop and implement best practices for efficient inventory management
